This was very easy to put together and hang necklaces on. I don't know how often I would use this for travel (because it holds a LOT of necklaces so it would be a little hefty and take up a fair bit of room), however it is easy to wrap everything up if that's what you're going for. It avoids tangles, which is what I needed. I just wanted something to hang necklaces on my doorway and it functions great for that purpose. They hang perfectly from each of the sturdy hooks and there is plenty of room so that they do not get tangled on the necklaces hanging below. It is an excellent quality, easy to assemble and does not take too much room on the back of the linen closet.I had a decorative jewelry holder on my bureau for a number of years. It had arms extending to hang items on and put earrings into little loops. Necklaces would invariably become tangled trying to remove a specific one to wear.Looking to declutter my space, I found this item and LOVE it!! I thought it would be more than just felt and cardboard. Only reason keeping was because it was a gift and it holds allot of necklaces. We needed something and can’t find another source that is cheap enough.Everything about it was great except for putting it together. It took me 40 minutes just to get the hooks into the holes (and I had to use my crocheting tools to help). Once I put it together and hung it up it looks and works awesome. Really love being able to just stick it in my closet and keep it out of sight.I like the construction of it. I adapted it to be tied to a coat hanger so it could hang in my closet. The only problem for me were those hooks. I hot gunned them all and that made me feel better. It's really good for your jewelry as your necklaces don't get tangled. CBrownI am very impressed with this product. It is very sturdy and lets me hang many necklaces and keep them orderly and not get tangled. I highly recommend..I like this product and my necklaces are easy to hang on it. However, it is a bit too short for longer necklaces and adding the hooks required some force to get them in. Other than that, it works great and hangs well on the back of my door.
