Very cute makeup organizer. Stores a lot of items very neatly. Some people seem to be hung up on the directions and the number of pieces. First of all, there are 33 pieces of which 18 of those are for the 3 drawers: front, back, left, right, bottom, and a plastic piece that goes on the drawer front. If you lay all the pieces out like the directions show then following the pictures in the directions is actually not too bad. Note to seller: There are 2 pictures that don't show correct piece placement so I had to undo those parts and redo them. Two of my pieces (1 drawer and 1 shelf bottom) had the corners crushed; however, those are pieces where I was able to put it against the back so I can't really see them. For the price I would have thought that the pieces would have all been undamaged. Otherwise, I would have given this organizer a 5 star review. Overall it only took me about 45 minutes to assemble including laying out all my pieces and redoing two of the steps. For those concerned about the F Chome on the front....no big deal to fix this. Just hold your hair dryer to it for a couple of minutes and they easily peel off. If you have any residual "stickiness" that is left on the plastic, just use fingernail polish remover. I had the letters and minor residual stickiness off in less than 5 minutes. PS: If you start to peel off the letters and you see that the tape is sticking to the plastic it means you didn't hold your blow dryer on the letter long enough because if you hold it on long enough it will lift off all of the glue. My residual stickiness was due to the first letter I tried to remove. After I saw that happen I was able to remove the rest of the letters with no stickiness at all.this item is not worth the money in the slightest. the directions for set up are a one page diagram that includes numbers to parts for assembly however not one part has a number. the assembly is such a guessing game and at $40 one would think that would be the easiest of tasks. the material is literally ply wood imitation that can break with an accidental simple snap. i wouldn’t repurchase nor refer anyone to this item. i am surprised as i saw many positive reviews but even the logo on the item “f chome” is imitation ply that isn’t even black it’s a light wood color! il be contacting the seller/amazon for refund.8/5 the seller actually contacted me by email apologizing for the confusion. the seller stated the tan lettering is actually a protective film. (i gave this to my niece so i do not know). i also received a full refund for my dissatisfaction with the product. essentially, once it is put together and one becomes resourceful with gorilla glue and patience, it is a nice product. she has not broken it yet so i imagine the durability is better once the glue is added for stability. all in all, after the message from the seller and the refund i was truly impressed with the quality assurance of the seller and as a result, changed my rating. my only suggestions to the seller are:1. include more detailed and accurate instructions for assembly2. perhaps making the window pane tempered glass and adding polish shine to the trim3. installing base pads on the corners for more stability when on counter tops4. stronger wood material for housingit really is great for its purpose with the layout of the construction. she can fit ALOT and in an organized fashion. :)I returned it! This was wayyyy too many pieces to build ! I was super bummed because I thought it would be cute but 10 pieces into building, they didn’t fit, and I no longer wanted to waste my time . I do not recommendEdit: i found my knobs! My bad! Pros:-spacious! Fits all my lotions and even my shampoo and conditioner.-shipped quickly!-looks nice on my vanity.-not plastic like all the other options on amazon.Cons:-building instrustions were very confusing.-putting it together is quite difficult, pieces kept coming apart as i put others together & i had to have my boyfriend help me.-i had to use glue to keep it together. It didn't feel sturdy, pieces kept coming apart.(EDIT; so I didn't see the screws and knobs you were supposed to use to put it together that came in the bottom of the box. I must have missed it somehow. I eventually found it after building with glue. Much easier to build when you have the screws.)So my conclusion- it's a pain to put together.. (Unless you put use the tools they gave you, like I accidentally didn't) Otherwise, it's HUGE and fits everything i needed it to and more. Once i glued it (and realized I was supposed to use the screws) , it felt sturdy and nice. I don't regret buying, but the company should make the instructions more user friendly and easier to understand. This is a very cute vanity . How ever the instructions say two pieces are in certain spots but actually you need to switch . #9and # 10 you need to change them so if 9 is on the left put it in the right other wise the pieces seem like they don’t fit . I almost gave up to be honest . Also hint , start screwing the things in not super tight but at least to hold the foundation together .I wanted something to store my makeup that looks luxury and this is the most luxury makeup organizer i found. And wow it is so so beautiful. Worth every penny. Holds quite a bit of makeup. One drawer held 6 mascaras. Lipstick area holds 8. The set up was ok. There were some finger prints on them that i wiped off. But it wasnt too hard assembly. I love love love it.Pretty storage box once it is assembled. Takes 2 people and a lot of patience. The instructions were good and easy to follow but because of its complexity, we'd put one piece on and another would pop off, especially in the later stages of the assembly process. Looks great once finished with lots of storage. One item to note: this comes from Japan and their tissue boxes must be smaller. It won't accommodate North American sized tissue boxes. In the picture it looks more solid than in reality ! It helped me with what I needed but for sure if I would see it before buying I would spend This much on it ! Expensive for its price ! And hard to assemble . And looks cheapI was attractive to the look and large capacity. I, however, was disappointed when I received the product for the following reasons:1. Very expensive for such cheap materials made out off2. Difficult to assemble3. The knobs in the drawers were not properly drilled to align the plastic mirrors so I made the holds and the plastics instantly brokeWonderful product. I got two and didn't need instructions to put the second one together. Is huge. Lots of storage and ability to rearrange make up. Got one for makeup and one for jewelry.
