This is such a simple idea, yet it's effectiveness is genius. The width may be small but you can mount 8 to 10 tie downs, or about 4 large automotive tie downs. I wouldn't say their heavy duty, but they do keep them straps off the ground with little tension. They should hold up if not abused by applying major tension as the rods are 3/4 aluminum. I will be ordering another set for larger straps.
