These were perfect to fit my sewing thread and my machine embroidery thread. Could easily organize my treads with bobbin. Love that they are clear so I can see through them quickly. Going to buy another set for more thread. Seem to be sturdy as one of the grandkids was standing on one when I saw them!!! Not sure boxes are intended to support a 2year old- but they did!!!!
